Rollers cross at 90 degrees between the inner ring and two outer semi-rings, alternating orientation so a single CRBA bearing carries radial load, axial load in both directions and moment load at the same time. Rollers run in line contact with the track for small elastic deformation and high rigidity, with spacers between rollers to prevent mutual friction. The split outer ring suits inner-ring rotation, with the housing clamping the outer semi-rings.

Need to bolt the bearing straight to the housing? CRBD is the same split-outer-ring core with mounting holes, no clamping brackets required. View CRBD Series →

Accuracy grades

CRBA runs P5, P4, P2 and PD5; PD5 holds tighter bore and outside diameter tolerances at the same runout as P5 (inner-ring runout 4 to 15 µm by size).

  • P5 Standard — General automation and fixtures
  • P4 High — Robot joints, rotary tables
  • P2 Precision — Machine tools, inspection equipment
  • PD5 Tight-tolerance grade — Tighter bore and outside diameter tolerances at the same runout as P5

Internal clearance

  • C8 Negative (preload) — Zero backlash for indexing and joints
  • C1 Positive — Lower friction torque under light duty

Seals

  • WW Sealed both sides — Keeps the track clean, retains grease
  • NN Open — Lowest friction for low-torque axes

Mounting

  • — Without holes — CRBA/CRBB/CRBC: clamp with brackets
  • A Screw holes — CRBD/CRBE: bolt straight to the housing
  • B/C Counter-bored — Same or opposite direction counter-bores
