Available in both regular and thin-type, high rigidity (CRBC) Crossed Roller Bearings consist of an inner ring and an outer ring, which is suitable for rotating both the inner ring and outer ring.

CRBE adds direct mounting holes to the same high-rigidity one-piece rings, no clamping brackets required. View CRBE Series →

  • 90°

Roller crossing angle, loads from every direction

  • 40%

Less bearing volume in the thin type

  • 523.9 kN

Max static load rating (CRBC 40035)

Applications

  • Industrial robots
  • Industrial automation control
  • Machine tools
  • Inspection and measuring devices
  • Medical devices
  • Stator winding machines
  • Compact and lightweight equipment (thin type)

Sizes

Bearing numbers encode bore and width: CRBC 08016 is an 80 mm bore, 16 mm wide. A trailing L marks the thin type, six sizes from 50 to 100 mm bore, all 8 mm wide. Every size comes sealed (WW) or open (NN), in clearance C8 (zero backlash) or C1 (low friction).

Accuracy grades

The standard CRBC runs P4, P2, PD4 and PD2; PD grades hold tighter bore and outside diameter tolerances at the same runout. The thin type is graded P0 only.

  • P4 High — Robot joints, rotary axes
  • P2 Precision — Machine tools, inspection equipment
  • PD4 High, tight diameters — P4 runout with tighter diameter tolerance
  • PD2 Precision, tight diameters — P2 runout with the tightest diameter tolerance
  • P0 Thin type — The single grade of the L series

Internal clearance

Clearance is set at the factory; pick it for the duty, not the size.

  • C8 Negative (preload) — Zero backlash for indexing and joints
  • C1 Positive — Lower friction torque under light duty

Seals

  • WW Sealed both sides — Keeps the track clean, retains grease
  • NN Open — Lowest friction for low-torque axes

How buying works

Spec it in the configurator: drawings, 3D CAD, and a quote to follow.

HIWIN series are configured to your application, not bought off the shelf. Start from your loads and speeds if you are still choosing a size.
