Split outer ring with mounting holes (CRBD): Consists of an inner ring and two outer semi-rings with mounting holes. The mounting holes allow the crossed roller bearing to be fixed directly, and it is suitable for rotating the inner ring.

CRBA is the same split-outer-ring core without mounting holes, for housings that clamp the bearing. View CRBA Series →

Sizes

Bearing numbers encode bore and width: CRBD 08022 is an 80 mm bore, 22 mm wide. The suffix letter is the mounting-hole execution: A (threaded inner ring) covers all seven sizes, B and C (counter-bores both rings, same or reverse direction) start at the 80 mm bore. Every size comes sealed (WW) or open (NN), in clearance C8 or C1.

Accuracy grades

CRBD runs P5 and P4; contact HIWIN for higher grades.

  • P5 Standard — Inner-ring radial runout 4-8 µm by size
  • P4 High — Inner-ring radial runout 3-6 µm by size

Internal clearance

  • C8 Negative (preload) — Zero backlash for indexing and joints
  • C1 Positive — Lower friction torque under light duty

Seals

  • WW Sealed both sides — Keeps the track clean, retains grease
  • NN Open — Lowest friction for low-torque axes

Mounting holes

  • A Threaded inner ring — Counter-bored outer ring; all seven sizes
  • B Counter-bored, same direction — Both rings; sizes 08022 to 16035
  • C Counter-bored, reverse direction — Both rings; sizes 08022 to 16035

How buying works

Spec it in the configurator: drawings, 3D CAD, and a quote to follow.

HIWIN series are configured to your application, not bought off the shelf. Start from your loads and speeds if you are still choosing a size.
