The RCH is the horizontal single-axis choice for upgrading a processing machine to 3+1 axis. A built-in torque motor delivers high acceleration, high torque and zero backlash, with no worm gear or roller cam in the drive path, and rotation speeds up to 250 rpm carry the table from indexing into turning work. Eight table sizes from Ø100 to Ø1,000 mm reach 3,900 N·m of torque and hold ±5 arc-second positioning accuracy with 4 arc-second repeatability from the RCH-200 up, with low runout accuracy for integrated milling, turning and grinding in one clamping.

RCV is the vertical counterpart, the 3+1 axis upgrade for vertical machining centers. View RCV Series →

  • ±5 arc-sec

    Positioning accuracy, RCH-200 through RCH-1000

  • 3,900 N·m

    Max torque (RCH-1000)

  • 250 rpm

    Max rotation speed (RCH-200)

Applications

  • Milling-turning compound machining
  • Automotive parts machining
  • Die and mold machining
  • Aircraft parts machining
  • Tool grinding and gear chamfering
  • Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP)
  • Electronic parts machining
  • Die-mold and drilling EDM

Models

RCH-100 and RCH-250 each come in two builds: the Ø102 RCH-100E is the EDM table (35 kg max electrode weight, 20 bar centric flushing pressure) and the second RCH-250 is the IP68 underwater build for EDM, cleaning and underwater ultrasonic testing machines. The RCH-100 builds rate ±15 and ±20 arc-sec; every model from RCH-200 up holds ±5.

How buying works

Spec it in the configurator: drawings, 3D CAD, and a quote to follow.

HIWIN series are configured to your application, not bought off the shelf. Start from your loads and speeds if you are still choosing a size.
