LMSSA Series
Iron-core or coreless: 5G acceleration, 0.1 µm resolution, strokes to 2,700 mm
LMSSA Linear Motor Stages
LMXK Ironcore Linear Motor Stage
The LMXK is HIWIN USA's quick-delivery linear motor stage: a high-force synchronous ironcore motor riding Q-series SynchMotion guideways on an anodized aluminum base, built in the USA from Taiwanese and other parts. Three motor sizes in standard or low back-EMF windings span 103 to 308 N continuous with strokes to 3,700 mm and velocities to 5 m/s, and single axes combine into cross tables, cantilevers and gantries.
Need micron-class accuracy or cleanroom sealing instead of quick-delivery force? LMSSA is the precision-stage sibling with ±1 µm repeatability and an ISO class 2 cover. View LMSSA Series →
5 m/s
Max velocity with L windings
50 m/s²
Maximum acceleration (40 m/s² for SA11 and SA11L)
55 kg
Loading capacity at 0.5 G (SA13)
Standard windings run to 3.1 m/s; L (low back-EMF) windings reach 5 m/s at the same force. Max stroke steps down slightly with motor size: 3,700 / 3,600 / 3,500 mm.

How buying works
HIWIN series are configured to your application, not bought off the shelf. Start from your loads and speeds if you are still choosing a size.
