Based on a four-row circular-arc contact, Hiwin’s QH linear guideway features SynchMotion™ Technology, ensuring smooth, quiet movement and longer life. It is highly applicable in high-tech industries requiring high speed, low noise, and reduced dust. The QH and HG series are interchangeable.

QH shares identical rails with the HG Series: a drop-in quiet upgrade on existing HG axes, no redesign required. View HG Series →

  • 4,000 km

Load test at 5 kN — no raceway damage

  • 130 m/min

    High-speed test over 9,500 km

  • ↓5 dB

    Noise vs conventional guideways

Applications

  • Precision measurement equipment
  • Semiconductor equipment
  • Automation equipment
  • Laser engraving machine
  • High-tech industry

Variants

Square (QHH) blocks are narrower and taller, the default for automation frames. Flange (QHW) blocks sit lower and bolt from the top or the bottom, for mounting where you can’t reach through the block. The last letter of a flange model is its mounting: A from the top, B from the bottom, C either way.

Accuracy classes

Five classes, chosen from the accuracy of the applied equipment.

  • C Normal — General transport and automation
  • H High — The workhorse class for most machines
  • P Precision — Precision measurement and semiconductor
  • SP Super precision — High-accuracy machine tools
  • UP Ultra precision — The tightest running parallelism — to 2 µm

Preload

Preload multiplies rigidity, matched to load direction and impact.

  • Z0 Light — Transport devices, packing machines, welders
  • ZA Medium — High-precision axes, EDM, NC lathes, measuring
  • ZB Heavy — Machining centers — vibration and impact loads

Dust protection

Seal packages appended to the model number.

  • — Standard — End seal + bottom seal
  • ZZ Scraper — End seal, bottom seal + scraper
  • DD Double seals — Double seals + bottom seal
  • KK Full package — Double seals, bottom seal + scraper

Material

  • — Carbon steel — Standard
  • M Stainless steel — Available for QH15, 20, 25

How buying works

Spec it in the configurator: drawings, 3D CAD, and a quote to follow.

HIWIN series are configured to your application, not bought off the shelf. Start from your loads and speeds if you are still choosing a size.
