The WE series features equal load ratings in the radial, reverse radial and the lateral direction with contact points at 45 degrees. This along with the wide rail, allows the guideway to be rated for high loads, moments and rigidity. By design, it has a self-aligning capability that can absorb most installation errors and can meet high accuracy standards. The ability to use a single rail and to have the low profile with a low center of gravity is ideal where space is limited and/or high moments are required.

Variants
H blocks are the square type and W blocks the flange type; every WE block is the heavy load type (C). The final letter is the block mounting style: A mounts from the top, C from top or bottom.

Accuracy classes
Five classes from normal to ultra precision; choose against the accuracy of the equipment. Interchangeable guideways are offered in C, H and P only.
- C Normal — General automation and transport where positioning accuracy is not critical.
- H High — Standard step up for automated equipment that positions repeatedly.
- P Precision — Measuring and semiconductor equipment; the tightest class available on the interchangeable type.
- SP Super precision — Non-interchangeable only; for high-accuracy stages.
- UP Ultra precision — Non-interchangeable only; the tightest running parallelism the series offers.
Preload
Negative clearance between groove and balls improves stiffness and holds precision. Interchangeable guideways take Z0 and ZA; ZB is non-interchangeable only.
- Z0 Very light (0 - 0.02C) — Certain load direction, low impact, low precision requirement.
- ZA Light (0.03C - 0.05C) — Low load with a high precision requirement.
- ZB Medium (0.06C - 0.08C) — High rigidity requirement, with vibration and impact.
Dust protection
Standard protection (no symbol) is an end seal plus bottom seal; add the code after the model number for more.
- ZZ End seal, bottom seal and scraper — The metal scraper clears weld spatter and metal cuttings before they reach the seals.
- DD Double seals and bottom seal — A second end seal wipes foreign matter from the rail before it can enter the block.
- KK Double seals, bottom seal and scraper — The full stack for dirty environments; adds the most overall block length.
