Hiwin miniature ground ballscrews are made through a grinding process of the screw spindle. Miniature ground ballscrews are compact, perfect for those smaller load and shorter stroke applications. These highly efficient ballscrews provide high positioning accuracy and repeatability, smooth movement and long service life.

Nut configurations
The Q Series nuts (FSQ flange, RSQ threaded round and RSQ keyway round) use HIWIN's compact internal circulation in grades C6 and C7. FSI, FSB and FSW are the stocked ground models from the ballscrew catalog: flange-mount single nuts in grade C3 with finished shaft ends.

Accuracy grades
Grades are set by lead variation over any 300 mm of travel. Stocked miniature ground models ship in C3; the Q Series range comes in C6 and C7.
- C3 8 µm / 300 mm — Stocked FSI, FSB and FSW models
- C6 23 µm / 300 mm — Q Series, the high-accuracy option
- C7 50 µm / 300 mm — Q Series, the cost-effective grade
Nut type
The nut-type letter in the model number sets the arrangement.
