DSH-AJ Series
DSH-AJ Strain Wave Gear Unit, Solid Shaft Input
- Type
- Assembled unit with solid shaft input (AJ)
- Models
- 14 - 40 (6 sizes)
- Reduction Ratios
- 50 - 160
- Rated Torque
- 5.4 - 294 Nm
The DSH-AJ packs the DATORKER strain wave stage (wave generator, flex spline and circular spline, delivering high reduction ratios in little space) behind a solid input shaft, and ships assembled and lubricated. Its ring-type circular spline and included crossed roller bearing let the standard-series unit withstand axial and radial load directly at the output.
Need 30% more torque from the same solid-shaft unit? DGH-AJ is the heavy-load build. View DGH-AJ Series →

Models & ratios
Rated torque is at 2,000 rpm input; peak torque covers start and stop. Ratios 120 and 160 are not available on the smallest models. Permissible maximum input speed runs from 8,500 rpm (model 14) down to 4,000 rpm (model 40).

Series tiers
The second letter of the type code picks the tier; the AJ solid shaft unit is also built in the heavy-load series.
- S Standard (DSH-AJ) — The base tier
- G Heavy load (DGH-AJ) — Higher torque load and life than standard
Customized executions
Optional final code for built-to-order variants.
- M High tilting moment — Reinforced against moment loads
- L Lightweight — Weight-reduced execution
- S Surface treatment — Environmental protection
- C Customized — Built to customer requirement
