An elliptical wave generator flexes a slim flex spline into a ring-type circular spline, engaging many teeth at once to deliver high reduction ratios in a compact space. The DSH-AH packs that gearing into a completely sealed unit with a hollow-type flex spline and an included crossed roller bearing, shipped assembled and lubricated.
