The DGH-PH is the heavy-load DATORKER strain wave gear as a hollow-shaft unit: a wave generator, hollow-type flex spline and ring-type circular spline that put high reduction ratios in less space, with a 30% higher torque load than the standard series. The hollow shaft passes through the unit, a crossed roller bearing is included, and it arrives assembled and lubricated.

  • 1 arc min

Angle transmission accuracy, models 20 to 40

  • 841 Nm

    Peak start/stop torque (DGH-40-160-PH)

  • 8,500 rpm

Permissible max input speed (model 14)

Applications

  • Robot joints
  • Automation equipment
  • Semiconductor equipment
  • Machine tools

Models & ratios

DGH-25-100-PH reads model 25, reduction ratio 100, hollow combination type (PH). Ratio availability grows with frame size: model 14 tops out at 100, model 17 at 120, and models 20 to 40 run to 160. Rated torque is at a 2,000 rpm input; peak torque is the permissible value at start and stop.

DGH family types

The fourth code picks the module and input; the heavy-load hollow family offers four builds.

  • PO Oldham combination — Self-aligning input shaft, takes axial and radial load
  • PH Hollow combination — Input hollow shaft, takes axial and radial load: this series
  • AH Hollow sealed — Hollow shaft in a completely sealed, user-friendly unit
  • AJ Solid shaft — Input solid shaft, takes axial and radial load

Custom options

An optional last code marks a customized build; blank is standard.

  • M High tilting moment — Higher output-bearing moment capacity
  • L Lightweight — Weight-reduced variant
  • S Surface treatment — Treated surfaces for the environment
  • C Customized — Built to a customer specification

How buying works

Spec it in the configurator: drawings, 3D CAD, and a quote to follow.

HIWIN series are configured to your application, not bought off the shelf. Start from your loads and speeds if you are still choosing a size.
