The DGC-PO is the heavy-load DATORKER strain wave gear as a ready-to-mount unit: a wave generator, cup-type flex spline and flange-type circular spline delivering high reduction ratios in minimal space, supplied assembled and lubricated with a crossed roller bearing included on the output. Against the standard series it carries a 30% higher torque load.

  • 1 arc min

Angle transmission accuracy, models 20 to 40

  • 841 Nm

    Peak start/stop torque (DGC-40-160)

  • 8,500 rpm

Permissible max input speed (model 14)

Applications

  • Robot joints
  • Cobots and end effectors
  • Automation equipment
  • Semiconductor equipment
  • Machine tools
  • Inspection equipment

Models & ratios

Rated torque is at 2,000 rpm input; peak torque covers start and stop. Ratios 120 and 160 are not available on model 14, and 160 is not available on model 17.

Series tiers

The second letter of the type code picks the tier. Thin (DTC/DTH) covers models 14 to 32 only, at lower rated torque, and DGC-CO has no model 11.

  • S Standard (DSC/DSH) — The base tier
  • G Heavy load (DGC/DGH) — Higher torque load and life than standard
  • T Thin (DTC/DTH) — Reduced axial build

Module types

  • C Component — Gearset only: build your own joint
  • P Combination — Output bearing included, takes axial and radial load
  • A Sealed — Completely sealed unit

Input types

  • O Oldham coupling — Self-aligning input, the PO standard
  • H Hollow shaft — Cables and air lines through the axis
  • J Solid shaft — Direct solid-shaft input
  • E/R/Q Flat · Rigidity · Quick install — Special input executions

Customized executions

  • M High tilting moment — Reinforced against moment loads
  • L Lightweight — Weight-reduced execution
  • S Surface treatment — Environmental protection
  • C Customized — Built to customer requirement

How buying works

Spec it in the configurator: drawings, 3D CAD, and a quote to follow.

HIWIN series are configured to your application, not bought off the shelf. Start from your loads and speeds if you are still choosing a size.
