The KU single axis stage has a lightweight construction that offers high performance in position accuracy and efficiency. This stage contains a motor-driven ballscrew module equipped with a stainless steel cover strip to prevent particles from entering or exiting.

Models
Both frames ride a C7 (normal) ballscrew rated at 3,000 rpm; the KU060 pairs with a 100 W AC motor, the KU080 with 200 W. Load and speed track the lead: the 5 mm lead carries the most (560 N rated thrust on the KU080), the 20 mm lead runs the fastest at 1,000 mm/s.

Motor adaptor flanges
Flange choice follows the motor: the KU060 takes F0 and F1, the KU080 F0, F1, F2, F3, F5 and F6, matched to brand and output in the chapter's flange list.
