The KS single axis stage is actuated by a motor-driven ballscrew or belt equipped with a stainless steel cover strip to prevent particles from entering or exiting. Due to the dust-proof design, this type of single axis stage is ideal for the manufacturing of semiconductor equipment, LED examination equipment, medical and inspection equipment, etc.

Models
The suffix is the motor position: FI tucks the motor inside the frame line, FL and FR fold it left or right, and the KS090 mounts it direct with no suffix. B models swap the C7 (3,000 rpm) ballscrew for a timing belt: faster and longer but ±0.1 mm repeatability and horizontal use only, versus ±0.02 mm on every ballscrew model.

Precision grades
Every ballscrew frame orders in either grade; repeatability is ±0.02 mm.
- C Normal — The only grade on belt-driven models (±0.1 mm)
- P Precision — For the accuracy-critical end of the range
Motor mounts
Which mounts a frame takes depends on its flange list: the KS090 is direct only, the KS150 internal only, and the belt models fold left or right.
- F0 / F1 Direct mount — KS090; F0 or F1 follows the motor brand
- FI Internal — Motor tucked inside the frame line: KS100-KS180 ballscrew models
- FL / FR Folded left / right — Shortest package; the belt models' only mounts
