The DMT is the ultra-thin member of the DM family and one of the lowest-profile direct drive motors on the market: 22 to 30 mm tall, with a larger hollow shaft (Ø140 to Ø340 mm) that passes cables, air tubes and 4 to 12 inch wafers straight through the axis. High thrust force density and a high-rigidity design couple the load directly, with no reduction mechanism and zero backlash. Three models span 9.1 to 31 N·m continuous and 30.4 to 110 N·m peak, holding repeatability down to ±1.5 arc-seconds.

  • Ø340 mm

    Largest hollow shaft (DMTK3, 4 - 12 inch wafers)

  • ±1.5 arc-sec

    Repeatability, DMTF2 and DMTK3

Applications

  • Semiconductor wafer handling (4 - 12 inch)
  • Product inspection and processing
  • Precision large-hollow XY-theta positioning platforms
  • Double-sided processing and backlight modules

Models

Hollow shafts run Ø140 (DMTB2), Ø240 (DMTF2) and Ø340 mm (DMTK3) at 22, 22 and 30 mm height. DMTB2 and DMTF2 are cataloged; DMTK3 is the brochure's new debut, sized for 12-inch wafers. Accuracy ships at ±20 arc-sec (DMTB2) or ±15 (larger frames), tightening to ±10 or ±5 with error mapping.
