CG Series Superior Rolling Moment with Cover Strip Linear Guideway
- Block Type
- Square (H, L), Flange (W)
- Model Size
- 15 - 45
- Load Type
- Heavy, Super Heavy
- Dynamic Load Rating
- 14.7 [kN] - 125.58 [kN]
The CG series linear guideways have rolling moment (MR) capacity well above standard HG assemblies, with torsional rigidity up by more than 100%. The O-Type (back-to-back) bearing configuration and an integrated recirculation unit optimize bearing circulation greatly improving moment load capacities and promoting smooth motion. An optional stainless steel cover strip increases dust protection and promotes smooth block transition.
CG carries rolling moment (MR) capacity well above standard HG assemblies, with torsional rigidity up by more than 100%; for the general-purpose baseline, start from HG. View HG Series →

Variants
Square (CGH) is the standard block; CGL is the low-profile square, assembling to the same height as the flange type in the same size. Flange (CGW) blocks come in A (four mounting holes) and C (six mounting holes) versions, and both can be bolted from the top or the bottom.

Accuracy classes
Five classes, chosen against the accuracy of the equipment. Interchangeable blocks and rails reach up to P class; SP and UP are non-interchangeable only.
- C Normal — General machinery where standard travel accuracy is enough.
- H High — The usual step up for machine tools and automation axes.
- P Precision — Positioning axes and measuring equipment; the tightest class available on interchangeable guideways.
- SP Super Precision — High-end machine tool axes; non-interchangeable type only.
- UP Ultra Precision — Running parallelism down to 2 µm; non-interchangeable type only.
Preload
Oversized balls set a negative clearance between groove and balls to raise stiffness. Interchangeable guideways carry Z0 and ZA only; non-interchangeable add ZB.
- Z0 Light (0-0.02C) — Transport devices, auto-packing machines and general X-Y axes: certain load direction, low impact, modest precision.
- ZA Medium (0.05C-0.07C) — Machining centers, Z axes, EDM, NC lathes and precision X-Y tables where high precision is required.
- ZB Heavy (0.10C-0.12C) — Grinding machines, milling machines and heavy cutting: high rigidity under vibration and impact.
Dust protection
Every block carries end seals, bottom seals and a standard metal scraper; codes step the protection up from there. CS and RC are the rail-side options.
- SS Standard protection — Standard end seal, metal scraper and bottom seal: the baseline package against chips and dust.
- DD Double seals — Adds a high-dustproof end seal to the SS set for a stronger wiping effect.
- DD+CS Double seals with cover strip — The full package: double seals plus the stainless cover strip closing the rail mounting holes.
- CS Cover strip — Stainless strip over the rail mounting holes in place of bolt caps; metal end retainer available for high temperatures.
- RC Reinforced cap — Reinforced bolt caps for the rail mounting holes.
How buying works
Spec it in the configurator: drawings, 3D CAD, and a quote to follow.
